In this new edition of OM Dialogues, the “Statistical Report on Asylum 2023 – Applicants and Beneficiaries of International Protection in Portugal”, by Catarina Reis Oliveira, Director of the Observatories of Migration and scientific coordinator of the Immigration in Numbers Collection, will be launched at an event that will be attended by the Secretary of State for Equality and Migration, Isabel Almeida Rodrigues, and the Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Affairs, Ana Catarina Mendes.
The meeting will also include a panel discussion on “International protection in times of war”, moderated by José Reis, member of the Board of Directors of ACM, I.P., and the participation of Gabriele De Angelis and Emellin de Oliveira (NOVA Asylum Policy Lab), Inês Carreirinho (Portuguese Council for Refugees), André Costa Jorge (JRS – Jesuit Refugee Service / Refugee Support Platform), Alexander Kpatue Kweh (Refugee Forum Portugal) and Lyubov Patravchan (Department of Migration Support and Assistance of ACM, I.P.).
The session will take place in person at the CNAIM-Lisbon Auditorium, with the possibility of watching it online.

Nesta nova edição dos Diálogos OM, será lançado o “Relatório Estatístico do Asilo 2023 – Requerentes e Beneficiários de Proteção Internacional em Portugal”, da autoria de Catarina Reis Oliveira, Diretora do Observatórios das Migrações e coordenadora científica da Coleção Imigração em Números, num evento que contará com a presença da Secretária de Estado da Igualdade e Migrações, Isabel Almeida Rodrigues, e da Ministra Adjunta e dos Assuntos Parlamentares, Ana Catarina Mendes.
O encontro irá integrar ainda um painel de debate sobre a “Proteção internacional em tempos de guerra”, com moderação de José Reis, vogal do Conselho Diretivo do ACM, I.P., e a participação de Gabriele De Angelis e Emellin de Oliveira (NOVA Asylum Policy Lab), Inês Carreirinho (Conselho Português para os Refugiados), André Costa Jorge (JRS – Serviço Jesuíta aos Refugiados / Plataforma de Apoio aos Refugiados), Alexander Kpatue Kweh (Fórum Refúgio Portugal) e Lyubov Patravchan (Departamento de Apoio e Assistência Migratória do ACM, I.P.).
